We are incredibly proud of Dr. Hulin, Dr. Falyar, Dr. Hooge, for representing MTSA at the International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists 15th World Congress of Nurse Anesthetists.

During the conference, all three faculty members presented scientific posters, with Dr. Falyar receiving 🏆 First Place for Best Research Poster for a DNAP project completed in collaboration with three Acute Surgical Pain Management fellows.

Dr. Falyar also presented two podium sessions in the Pain Management Track covering LAST and failed blocks. In addition, Dr. Hooge and Dr. Falyar facilitated two POCUS workshops for conference attendees from around the world.

It was a busy and successful conference filled with education, collaboration, and opportunities to reconnect with colleagues across the global nurse anesthesia community.

We are grateful for the leadership, scholarship, and dedication our faculty continue to bring to the profession and to MTSA.

BIG NEWS: We’ve been ranked #5 in the nation among Best Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA) Programs by U.S. News & World Report!

Being recognized by our peers in this way is especially meaningful. These rankings reflect the collective perspective of leaders in nurse anesthesia education, and being included among the top programs in the country speaks to the dedication of our faculty, staff, partners, and students. We’re truly grateful for the steady commitment and hard work they bring each day that make this possible.

As a standalone nurse anesthesia educational institution, everything we do centers on this specialty. We’re grateful for this recognition and the community behind it!

We were excited to welcome guests on campus today for our Open House! It was a packed afternoon of learning more about our program, exploring campus, and connecting along the way.

The highlight of the day was closing out with a panel of six of our current students, who shared their experiences and perspectives.

Thank you to everyone who visited, we’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces back on campus in April for interviews!
