“Shayla and I met in biology last semester when I first joined Theta. After moving into the house, she became my person to craft with, dance with, cry with and laugh with. I am so grateful for Theta bringing us together. I couldn’t ask for a better friend than Shayla!”

Today we have Chloe Adkins and Avery Ahlquist from MC’ 25!

“Avery and I are first cousins and haven’t gone a day without each other for as long as we can remember. We played on every sports team together, share a room on family vacations, and can’t go a week without a spontaneous drive to have some us time. When we came to K-State together, we didn’t plan on joining the same sorority, it just sort of happened. Theta has made us so much closer over this past year and I’m so grateful. I could not have imagined my Theta experience without her. She has made Theta feel like a family, our home away from home. I know there is always a loving face in Theta because she is there. Being Thetas together feels like another special thing we can share with each other and it is one of my biggest blessings. I could not imagine being a Theta without my other half.”

“I chose Theta because of the instant connections I made during recruitment and I knew the girls were genuine and loving. Before coming to college I was surrounded by so many people I knew since I grew up in a small town. When transitioning to a bigger school I was nervous I wouldn’t find any close connections but when I went through recruitment it brought me some of the best people I have ever met. Theta has shown me how to be true to myself and I’ll always have someone to lean on. Being a Theta has brought me so much joy, emotions, late night sonic runs after chapter and so many more! I’m greatful to call all these girls my sisters for a lifetime!”
