Pregnancy loss is often experienced in isolation, without time or space to grieve.

Dr. Sherry Haar is a fiber artist and designer who helps people process their loss by connecting their grief to the rhythms of the natural world. She creates and displays small, felted coffins colored with natural dyes in shared spaces, inviting reflection and acknowledging pregnancy loss. Dr. Haar’s work maintains a deep, sustainable connection to the land through locally sourced materials.

For more information on Dr. Haar's work, read 'The color collector' in Seek Research Magazine here: https://ow.ly/irIq50Z5irW 🌻

In a world focused on things, we focus first on people. Bronwyn Fees exemplifies our motto to the truest standard.

This week, friends, family and colleagues came to celebrate the career of Bronwyn Fees, Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs. The lasting impact Bronwyn leaves is evident in the relationships she has cultivated and work that is deeply rooted in our college, university, Kansas and beyond.

Bronwyn, we wish you the best for your next adventure!
