Three things to do before you ever post a college offer on social media

Fake offers are out there and athletes are losing scholarships for not knowing the difference 👇

Cross reference the coach: Go to the school’s official website and pull up the staff directory.

Confirm the coach’s name, title, and contact information match exactly before you respond to anything

Ask what is included in the offer: A real coach will answer without hesitation. If they deflect, create urgency, or ask for any kind of payment, the offer is not real

Wait for it in writing: Never commit or pay anything until you have a written financial aid agreement in your hands. A verbal offer means nothing and can be pulled at any time
