Fall semester is officially here, and yesterday's Involvement Fair in the DBRC was the perfect way to kick it off. Student organizations and local nonprofits came together to help Pioneers find their people right from the start.

Whether it's academic clubs, Greek life, service organizations, or something as simple as Ultimate Frisbee, moments like these are often where a student's Landmark Experience begins.

Join us for an evening of poetry and fiction with Lucas Visiting Writer Mary Quade.

Quade is the author of two poetry collections, Guide to Native Beasts and Local Extinctions, and the essay collection Zoo World, which won the 2022 The Journal Non/Fiction Prize. Her work has also received an Oregon Literary Fellowship and five Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Awards.

The reading takes place Thursday, September 24, at 5:00 p.m. in Alma McDonough Auditorium, with a reception to follow in the Betty Cleland Room.

Free and open to the public.
