Hannah Wriston (MMI ’26) completed her sophomore year in the civilian Leadership Education Program (LEP) as Commander. Having an older brother as an MMI graduate, she knew what to expect as a cadet, but she ranked “waking up for PT” as the hardest thing. What surprised her the most about life at a military college: “How friendly everyone actually is.”

As a Marion Made graduate, she’ll take better time management and leadership skills with her to Liberty University (her transfer school) in their aviation program.

Proud to call Maj Gen Parker (MMI '92) a Marion Made alumnus and to see him chosen to lead this new UA school.

Retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Parker H. Wright has been selected as the inaugural dean of UA’s new School of Leadership and Policy 👏

Bringing more than three decades of policy and education experience, distinguished military service and national security leadership to the role, Maj. Gen. Wright will lead the establishment and growth of the School of Leadership and Policy, advancing initiatives that align with the University’s mission to develop leaders, strengthen communities and expand its global impact. He will work closely with campus leadership and University partners to create interdisciplinary programs that bridge public service, policy and leadership development.

Welcome to the MMI Tiger Family, Frederick Reese!! Frederick comes to us from Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, Alabama! Frederick will be a great addition to our growing sprints squad as he pursues his 2-year Associate's degree via our Leadership Education Program (LEP). He will plan on continuing to compete and obtain his Bachelor's degree at a 4-year institution following his time at MMI. Welcome, Frederick!! Welcome to the MMI Tiger Family, Genevieve Coughlon!! Genevieve comes to us from Saint Mary's Ryken High School in Leonardtown, Maryland!! Genevieve will be a huge addition to our Sprints/Jumps squads as she pursues the title of 2nd Lt. Officer in the Army via our Early Commissioning Program (ECP). She will also aquire her 2-year Associate's degree and move on to a 4-year institution to complete her Bachelor's degree and ROTC obligations as an officer in the military! Welcome, Genevieve!!
