Congratulations to student spotlight Jacob Meerschaert!
Jacob is a 3rd semester Peds/OB student from Armada, Michigan.

Here is a quick Q/A:

-Why did you choose NMU?
“I chose NMU for a variety of different reasons. I grew up spending all my summers at my grandma's cabin in the Yoop, so it's always been a special place to me. I also appreciated the student population size of NMU and it's low cost compared to other MI colleges. Most of all though, the nursing program is stellar and I was granted direct admission for the BSN application.”

-What is your goal after graduating?
“I hope to stay in the Midwest, or possibly even move out west, to specialize in pediatric oncology.”

-What is a fun fact about you?
“I have over 30 plants in my house.”

Thank you Jacob for your hard work in the nursing program and extensive extracurricular involvement with SNA!
