Skyhawk graduate Clint Southworth capped off a strong week with a third-place finish in tie down roping at the College National Finals Rodeo this evening!

Southworth turned in UT Martin's best tie down roping CNFR finish since Clark Adcock won reserve national champion honors in 2014 💪

Clint Southworth wrapped up the CNFR with a 5th-place finish in the short round and secured an impressive 3rd place finish in the nation! We’re proud of the way he competed all week and represented both himself and UTM. Congratulations, Clint! It’s a great day to be a Skyhawk!

Clint Southworth roped his third calf in last night’s performance, stopping the clock at 12.4 seconds. He’s sitting in a strong position to make Saturday night’s short go, currently holding 2nd place in the average with only two performances remaining. It’s a great day to be a Skyhawk! 💙🤠🧡
