Recent English graduate Kennedy Williams (BA '26) is already off changing the world in Paducah, KY! In addition to working as a Reporter for the Paducah Sun, she is starting a poetry workshop at the Yeiser Art Center. If you find yourself in the Paducah area on Saturdays in August, then consider stopping by and supporting our UTM alum with this endeavor. According to Kennedy, "the idea is to teach people how they can use poetry as a wellness tool. We're hoping to eventually extend this to domestic violence survivors in the area and people who struggle with PTSD, but the first few workshops will be open to anyone interested in poetry. It starts on August 1 and will be every Saturday in August thereafter."
