Congratulations to our 16th National President, Dr. Thelma T. Daley, on receiving the prestigious Papal Honor of Dame of the Order of St. Gregory the Great. In recognition of her contributions to the life and mission of the Church, as well as her dedication and service to the Archdiocese of Baltimore, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has conferred this distinguished honor upon her.

Dr. Daley, you continue to exemplify a legacy of leadership and service. We celebrate this well-deserved recognition of your extraordinary contributions and lasting impact.

💐 As a consistent and strong leader in her community, it is clear why Cheryl Turner is being celebrates as one of our 2026 Women of Distinction Laureates. ✨
🌼 Cheryl gives back in a number of ways through her work with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She has held roles on numerous boards and committees in addition to being elected as their International President during the 56th National Convention in 2025. Her dedication and servant heart are clear in the work she does to further research and support for a variety of projects including the Delta Research and Educational Foundation.
