Bringing hope directly to our communities.

Today we had the opportunity to be part of something bigger than ourselves, the unveiling of HOPE on Wheels, a mobile cancer screening unit from the University of Kansas Cancer Center and Masonic Cancer Alliance.

This 42-foot mobile unit is designed to bring cancer screening, education, and prevention services directly to people, especially in rural communities where access can be limited. It includes exam space, screening areas, and the equipment needed to deliver real care on the road.

As Masons, this is exactly the kind of work we stand behind, improving lives, supporting early detection, and making sure geography is not a barrier to care.

Proud to see the impact of the Masonic Cancer Alliance in action, not just in words, but rolling out across Kansas to serve real people.

Our community doesn’t move forward by chance, it moves forward by people who step up.

Jeff Siegler (Revitalize or Die) will be in Marysville next week leading conversations on what it really takes to strengthen a town, where communities get stuck, and how local leadership can make a lasting impact.

“Hope isn’t a strategy.”

This message aligns closely with the values we hold, service, stewardship, and a commitment to building something better for the next generation.

There are multiple sessions available throughout the week for community members, business owners, and civic leaders. Each one is an opportunity to listen, learn, and take part in shaping the future of Marysville.

We encourage our members and the broader community to attend if you are able.

Check the schedule in the graphic and choose a time that works for you.

Strong communities are built by those who show up.

Jeff Siegler of Revitalize, or Die will be in Marysville next week.

“Hope isn’t a strategy for improving your community. If you want to realize change, you’re going to have to take action.”

He will lead sessions with business owners, nonprofits, city leaders, community members and residents, talking about what it takes for a town to move forward and where people get stuck.

There are several chances to hear him in Marysville next week. Be there and be part of it.

Marysville Lodge No. 91 Donates $1,000 to USD 364 Meal Assistance Program

Marysville Lodge No. 91 has partnered with the Kansas Masonic Foundation to donate $1,000 to the USD 364 Meal Assistance Program. This program helps students whose families fall into a difficult gap. Some qualify for reduced-price lunches but still struggle to cover daily meal costs. Others do not meet the income guidelines yet face financial challenges that make school meals hard to afford.

“Our lodge believes no student should ever go hungry in a classroom,” said Lodge Secretary Kevin Throm. “This support helps make sure every student has access to a nutritious meal so they can learn, grow, and thrive.”

Funds raised during this year’s Annual Sunrise Breakfast will be applied directly to student meal accounts. School administrators and counselors use these funds to reduce or eliminate balances for students in need. The goal is simple. Remove the financial stress of meals so kids can focus on learning, improve attendance, and feel supported at school.

Marysville Lodge No. 91 has served the community since 1870. The lodge supports local music programs, the Marysville Food Pantry, the Marshall County Agency on Aging Meal Program, free community movie nights, and the annual chess tournament that draws participants from across Northeast Kansas.
