Good afternoon, Yuba College students. This is a friendly reminder that starting June 8th at 8am students can start checking out library materials such as textbooks, Chromebooks and Hotspots for summer classes. Come in early in order to get guaranteed availability for materials.

If the library has more than one copy of a textbook, we can loan it to students for free for the entire summer semester. If we are down to one copy the book turns into a 2-hour checkout. Please refer to the graphic below for more information.

Starting next week, we will be open from 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday, but we will be closed Fridays.

🌈 June is Pride Month, and the Yuba College Library has new books to celebrate! If you’re looking for a new read, learn more about Pride month, or simply need to get out of the house, come check out our special LGBTQ+ Display! 📚

🏳️‍🌈 The Yuba College library also has digital LGBTQ resources such as eBooks, audiobooks, and movies on Libby and Kanopy. Kanopy is free for Yuba College students; it’s like Netflix but has thousands of award-winning movies, documentaries, educational videos, and television series through participating college libraries.

🌈 Libby is a library app that allows students access to audiobooks and eBooks for free. Creating a Libby Account is quick and easy to make. Just download the app, search for Yuba College, and sign in with your student ID and password-then you're all set to enjoy thousands of great titles anytime, anywhere. Stop by the library if you need recommendations for digital titles.

Hello Yuba College students. We hope you had a really great Memorial Day weekend/week. For the week of June 1st-4th we will be open from 8am-4pm. We will be closed this coming Friday June 5th.

Starting next week our summer hours will be Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm and we will be closed on Fridays. Have a wonderful week.

Happy Friday Yuba College Students! I hope everyone is staying cool in this warm weather. This is a friendly reminder that the Yuba College library will be closed May 25th-29th. Please use the blue book box located by the soccer field which is in the same area as the Athletics Building 1200.

Hello Yuba College Students. I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather so far. Just so you know, we will be closed not only on May 25th Memorial Day, and we'll be closed that entire week the 26th-29th. If you have any books to return, please feel free to use the blue book drop box located by the soccer field which is in the same area as the Athletics Building 1200.

UPDATE APPLICAIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

Been thinking about applying for a student job in the Fall 2026 semester? Today is the last day to apply for the Part-Time Library Assistant at the Marysville Campus for the Fall 2026 Semester.
Read on to learn more.

Main responsibilities:

Assist patrons with locating materials and resources.

Helping patrons with computer or printer issues.

Check materials in and out using our computer system

Organize shelves and maintain a welcoming space

Basic clerical duties such as answering the telephone and making library research appointments.

What we’re looking for:

Currently enrolled college student. Must be enrolled in 6 or more units.

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Comfortable with basic computer systems

Need to take a study break? Browse new library books and movies for Asian Pacific American Heritage month!

The library is celebrating Asian Pacific American heritage month. Stop into the library and borrow a book, borrow a DVD or watch a movie using the Kanopy library databases. Users must create a canopy account which is free for Yuba College students.
