Hey EDM!

Get ready! Our annual float trip is just around the corner! From July 18-20, we’ll be making unforgettable memories at the NRO Canoe Rental and Campground. We’ll kick things off on Friday by setting up camp, then gear up to float on Saturday! We’ll stay another night and head out on Sunday.

There will be free tent camping with raft rentals for only $35-40! Mark your calendars: We’re booking the trip on March 28, so stay tuned for the final cost and payment details.

Feel free to invite a friend/BF/GF—everyone’s welcome, no need to be in EDM!

**EDM Club Halloween Party Invitation**

Join us for our Halloween Party on Wednesday, October 30, from 5 PM to 9 PM! There will be games, food, drinks, music, and a costume contest with prizes to be won!

Additionally, we're hosting a white elephant-style "Boo Basket" exchange. If you'd like to participate, please bring a themed basket filled with treats, tricks, or surprises to trade with others. It’s a fun way to share festive goodies and embrace the spirit of the holiday. There is a $15 limit on each basket so get creative!

Mark your calendars and join us for an evening of Halloween festivities that you won't want to miss!

For the past couple days the Emergency and Disaster Management department had a team of students and facilitators go out to New York Hope held by the Consortium for Humanitarian Service and Education. Our team focused on EM process and technical skills related to their environment, immersed in simulated mass casualty incidents, water rescue operations, and more.

Great job to our team out there, finding a little treat stopping by Niagara Falls on their way home. We can’t wait to hear all about your experience when classes start back up here in a couple weeks. Safe trip home!
