AKL Capital Campaign Update: We're on Our Way!

​Dear AKL Alumni,

​Exciting times are ahead for our chapter, and the support from our alumni community has been truly inspiring. We are off to a fantastic start with our Capital Campaign, with nearly 11% of our goal already achieved! This is a testament to the strong bond we share as Men of Character and our dedication to the future of our fraternity.

​A huge thank you to all the brothers who have stepped up and contributed so far. Your generosity is paving the way for some crucial improvements to our chapter house, including:

​🏗️ House Improvement Updates:

​1st Floor Bathroom: We are on track to have the 1st floor bathroom fully completed within the next three weeks! This is a much-needed upgrade that will improve the living experience for all residents.

​Fire Escape: We are in the process of sourcing a structural engineer to draw up plans for a new fire escape that meets all Maryville regulations. We have confirmed that both wood and metal structures are compliant, and we will choose the best option to ensure safety and affordability.

🚨 ATTENTION BROTHERS OF ALPHA KAPPA LAMBDA – ALPHA ZETA 🚨

The AKL house at Northwest Missouri State has been the foundation of our lifelong bonds for generations. Today, our home stands at a crossroads, and it’s time to invest in its future.

We are officially launching the $100,000 Capital Improvement Campaign to rebuild, modernize, and secure our legacy over a two-summer roadmap.

🛠️ The Game Plan
Summer 2026 (Phase I - $35k Goal): Fire escape replacement & first-floor bathroom/plumbing overhaul.
Summer 2027 (Phase II - $65k Goal): Living quarters, common areas, and exterior/parking lot renovations. Second floor bathroom.

The Corporate Board guarantees total fiscal transparency and has made personal donations themselves. Now, we need the rest of our brotherhood to step up and ensure Alpha Zeta remains strong for the next 50 years.
