🌤️ Mid‑Valley Campus: Back to Normal! 🌤️

Just a few days ago, heavy rains swept through our area — but today, the Mid‑Valley Campus is shining again. Walkways are clear, students are back in motion, and the campus energy feels stronger than ever.

And our campus friends are back too — the squirrels, cats, and birds are out enjoying the sunshine right along with us. The whole Mid‑Valley family has returned.

We also want to extend a big thank you to the Weslaco Boys & Girls Club for stopping by to visit our department, and to our wonderful day care neighbors for visiting the campus. Your presence always brings extra joy and excitement to the Valley.

From stormy days to bright skies, Jaguars always bounce back.

I can't hear you! Aye aye, Captain!! 🐆 🐾

Today we traveled all the way to Bikini Bottom to celebrate SpongeBob Day!

Our Starr County Campus had a splashtastic time enjoying delicious cupcakes, fruity punch, gummy treats, and cool, refreshing popsicles to beat the heat and fun games just for our students.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and under-the-sea fun as we celebrated everyone's favorite sponge and his Bikini Bottom friends.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? 🎶
We sure do today!

🔥 Weslaco East brought the ENERGY to the Jaguar Games! 🔥

We had an incredible time hosting Weslaco East High School at the Mid‑Valley Campus for another round of the Jaguar Games-Summer Bridge edition.

Before the competition kicked off, students explored everything Student Activities & Wellness offers: student organizations, leadership opportunities, wellness programs, campus events, and all the ways they can get involved as future Jaguars.

Then it was game time… and Weslaco East did not hold back.
From high‑energy teamwork to quick thinking and full‑on competitive spirit, these students battled it out for the ultimate prize: an STC Jaguar T‑shirt and bragging rights as today’s champions.

💛 Thank you, Weslaco East — your high energy and Jaguar spirit made the day unforgettable.
We can’t wait to see you back on campus soon.

Hello Jaguars! 🐆 🐾

🍒✨ SGA the Cherry on Top Event Was a Sweet Success! ✨🍒

Today was filled with fun, laughter, and great conversations at our SGA "Cherry on Top" event! We had an amazing time interacting with our summer students, getting to know them better, and sharing all the exciting opportunities and activities coming their way this summer.

From making new connections to creating memorable moments, the energy was incredible! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make today's event so special.

The best part? This is just the beginning! We have so many exciting events, experiences, and opportunities planned, and we can't wait for our summer students to be a part of it all.

Our students at the Pecan Campus gathered to compete in our summer ping pong tournament and showed off their best backspins and drop shots. In the end Edgar Villarreal was crowned as our campus champion. We look forward to you joining us for future competitions.
