🌩️ When the lights go out… the call comes in.
At NALTC, our Night Games exercise gives pre-apprentice lineworker students a realistic taste of what storm restoration is really like. Students are unexpectedly called to campus in the middle of the night, respond just as they would on a real storm call, assess damaged electrical systems, make repairs, and work together to safely restore power.
There are no perfect conditions in this industry—and there are no shortcuts when lives and communities depend on you.
Training like this builds more than technical skills. It develops discipline, teamwork, decision-making under pressure, and the mindset required of tomorrow’s lineworkers.
Because when the phone rings at 2:00 a.m., the job still has to get done.
