Under the direction of Megan Allen, the Renaissance Choir is known for its energetic and heartfelt performances of contemporary Christian and gospel favorites. The choir has performed from Japan to New York and shared the stage with renowned artists including Bill Gaither and Mark Lowry.

Something big is happening at Bethel and we are proud to share it. We have officially launched seven new Bachelor's degree programs — Artificial Intelligence, Biology Business, Cybersecurity, Forensic Investigation, Forensic Science, Human Resource Management, and Neuroscience. Each one was developed with intentionality and with our students' futures in mind — because preparing students for lives of purpose is what we have always been about. All seven programs are open for enrollment now.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Rebecca “Becca” Walter as the new Administrative Coordinator for Bethel University Renaissance and the School of Visual and Performing Arts!

Becca is a graduate of Blue Mountain Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in History with a minor in Music. She received several of the university’s leading honors, including the Walter Carey Hearn Social Science Award, the Sibyl Brame Townsend Warren Christian Leadership and Service Award, and the Briscoe-Bennett Servant Leadership Award.

During her time at Blue Mountain, Becca was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team, sang in the university chorale, served on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team, and represented the university on the Southern States Athletic Conference Student Leadership Council. Her background also includes experience in event operations, travel coordination, team hospitality, community engagement, and the arts. A gifted pianist and vocalist, Becca has served with the worship team at The Mission Church in Martin since 2020.

“Becca has leadership written all over her,” said Dr. Scott Shepherd, Associate Dean of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. “Throughout her college career, she successfully balanced the demands of being a gifted student-athlete, musician, and scholar—all while earning some of Blue Mountain’s highest honors for leadership, service, and academic achievement. She is intelligent, engaging, ambitious, and deeply committed to serving others. I am thrilled to welcome her to our team and excited about the important role she will play as we lead Renaissance and the School of Visual and Performing Arts into this next season.”

Becca brings outstanding organizational and communication skills, a servant’s heart, and a genuine love for students, music, and ministry. We are excited to welcome her to the Bethel family!
