Hey friends!! I’m Isabelle and I’m so excited to be ASA’s president this year!!✨🤭Last year I served as ASA’s secretary and had so much fun connecting with both my cabinet and other ASA members and I can’t wait to get to do so this year as well!! ASA has been such an amazing welcoming community that has worked to share Asian culture and create a safe space for people of Asian heritage- and others 😉 and I hope to continue that throughout the rest of the year!! I am an ENFJ so I love meeting and talking to new people (and old friends) so please feel free to stop by and say hi, even if we’ve never met before!! I can usually be found in the library locking in 😮‍💨 Can’t wait see you all this year!!🥰🥹

heyyyy guys!! I’m may shee, and I’m super excited to serve as asa’s vp this school year! A little about me is that I’m an accounting major, and in my free time I enjoy listening to music, reading, hanging out with friends, and playing tennis! I’m so happy to be returning to ASA this year, and I’m soooo looking forward to all of the events that we have in store for you guys!! asa overall has become a safe space where I can express myself and share my perspective and culture :)) and I hope that this year, asa can continue to be a safe space where we can share and celebrate our similarities and differences 💗💗

Hey guys! I’m Kat, and I’m super excited to be your secretary this year! I’m a senior majoring in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS). A little about me: I absolutely love baking, so if you’re ever in the mood to chat, come find me! I’m also a huge fan of coffee and matcha. Right now, I’m obsessed with tiramisu iced lattes topped with sweet cold foam and a sprinkle of cinnamon ( If you want to grab a drink, hit me up) In my free time, I love exploring new coffee spots, traveling, taking mini road trips, watching movies and TV shows, and spending quality time with family and friends. Currently, I’m watching “The Rookie” and “High Potential.” I’m thrilled to be part of ASA and can’t wait to organize some amazing events that you won’t want to miss! I chose to be involved with MCC because of the incredible people, the vibrant community, and all the fun events we get to host. I’ve made so many treasured memories, and I hope to help create unforgettable experiences for all of you, too. So, if you see me around campus, don’t be shy come say hi! ✨️Intros Day 6: Treasurer!✨️

hey everyone! i’m chumnuo and i’ll be treasurer this school year. i’m a junior with a major in computer science and a tesol/esl minor. i’m so excited to help put together mcc events! one of the things i’ve always admired and loved to see during my previous two years at messiah was when people of all backgrounds came together to express the things that move us very deeply and that flow through all our stories. at mcc events, you’ll see a lot of food, colorful holidays, and conversations about things like migration, language, the memories of our families, or how we show affection. everyone belongs to a culture(s) that gives us these things. and when we let the places and people and histories that we all belong to blend together, i think we start to see one another more clearly. i look forward to seeing new and returning faces this year; don’t be shy!

✨️Intros Day 5: Graphic Design Public Relations Officer!✨️

“hi i’m max, and i’ll be your graphic design public relations officer! i’m a sophomore business admin major with a minor in international business, and i’m a returning member to the asa. my family is from argentina, so naturally i love watching and playing soccer. i’m a big fan of barcelona, so if you see me on campus feel free to come and say hi and talk to me about soccer! i’m so excited to continue working to bring people together to learn more about asian culture, while also helping students who may not know their place on this campus find a safe space to be themselves. being in asa has allowed me to meet so many amazing people and i’ve been able to make awesome memories thanks to them. i hope that this semester i’m able to help give some of you just as awesome memories!!”

✨️Intros Day 3: Events Coordinator!✨️

hello everybody!!! my name is elaina eibeck and i am this year’s asa events coordinator! i had the absolute privilege of being on last year’s cabinet during the fall semester before going on a study abroad to Shanghai, China and it had been such an amazing experience. being a part of ASA has meant getting to be on a cabinet that hosts events to talk about hard topics, celebrate cultures and diversity, cultivating safe spaces to talk about experiences and just having a community to go through college with. mcc is such a welcoming group of people that have made such an impact on my life, and being able to be a part of a club that could do that for others is something I will be grateful for everyday! love you my cabinet 🫶 and I can’t wait for this year of meeting more wonderful people and getting to see the community grow bigger and bigger.
