We research on identification and management of tree fruits, wine grapes, and other commercial crops diseases important to southern Oregon.

Eight “Renstack” grapevines with four to six stacked powdery mildew resistance genes have been released to Uc Davis - Foundation Plant Services. They aren’t commercial varieties for growers to plant, but rather publicly available resources for grape breeders to use to develop varieties with durable resistance to powdery mildew.
