Neighbors! The Massachusetts Primary Election Day is today, Tuesday, September 1st. Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm.

Tufts University hosts two election sites on its Medford/Somerville campus:

🗳️ If you live in Somerville Ward 7 Precinct 1, you vote at the Tufts Administration Building (TAB) at 167 Holland Street in Somerville.

🗳️ If you live in Medford Ward 4 Precinct 1 or Precinct 2, you vote at the Gantcher Center (right rear entrance) at 161 College Avenue in Medford.

The Office of Energy Transformation is hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, September 30th at 5:30pm at the Aidekman Art Center at Tufts University.

Hear directly from OET staff about the work being done on the clean energy transition at the state level, as well as ask questions and provide direct feedback to better inform decision makers.

Neighbors! An update on Tufts University's Ellis Oval Track and Zimman Field resurfacing project: The facilities remain closed for all uses while resurfacing work continues. The project is currently expected to continue through September 20.

Thanks to the Tufts students, faculty, staff and community members who attended the beam signing ceremony for the construction for Veterinary Learning Center at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University!

A special thanks to Massachusetts Senator Mike Moore and Representative David Muradian who joined in the ceremony to mark this important construction milestone - the topping out of Learning Center, a space that will provide veterinary students the opportunity to expand their educational experiences while at Tufts.

What a wonderful celebration at Cummings Foundation Grant Winner Celebration last week!

We are incredibly grateful to have received a $150,000 matching gift from Cummings Foundation for our Tufts Community Grants program this past year. With this incredible matching gift, we are able to support more organizations expand their reach and create new opportunities in our communities!

Congratulations to the Medford Housing Authority on the ribbon cutting ceremony for the revitalized Saltonstall Apartments, brand new affordable public housing for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities!

When visiting, be sure to check out the beautiful new mural designed and painted by students and faculty from Tufts University and Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life.
