"In honor of March being Social Workers Month, DCCC’s Social Services Program and Paralegal Program collaborated to host the Social Services Resource Fair on Thursday, March 27. Marple Campus’ Founders Hall Lounge was bustling with more than 30 tables where visitors could chat with representatives from social services organizations addressing issues surrounding mental health, addiction and recovery, reproductive health, legal advocacy, and many more. DCCC’s Counseling Center and Family Advocacy Center were also well represented at the Fair.
In attendance at the Social Services Resource Fair were Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer; Register of Wills Vincent Rongione; and Executive Director of Crime Victims Project Jennifer DiPillo. “I’ve learned so much,” said DCCC President Dr. Marta Yera Cronin, also in attendance. “These are fantastic resources for our students.” The Social Services Resources Fair was organized by Nilufar Jamir, Director of the College’s Paralegal Studies Program, and Carly Ellman, Assistant Professor of Social Work and Program Coordinator.
