This week, the Mobile Health Unit will be visiting Dyer and Lauderdale County!

Tuesday, August 18
We’ll be seeing patients at the Damascus Center in Dyersburg, TN.

Thursday, August 20
We’ll be at the Lauderdale Aging Commission from 10:00–11:00 AM, providing health care resources and information to the community.

Later that evening (Aug. 20), from 4:00–6:00 PM, we’ll participate in the Lauderdale County Back to School Bash! We’ll be handing out goodie bags filled with health care information and school supplies.

Friday, August 21
We’ll be back in Dyer County for the Transitions of Dyer County Open House! 12:00-3:00pm We’ll be introducing our services to the community and handing out goodie bags with personal health care items and health care information.

Thursday, August 27
We'll be providing patient care in Ripley, TN at Professional Care Services from 9:00am- 1:00pm.

The UT Health Sciences Mobile Health team attended a community open house today hosted by the Health Department. The event highlighted the services and resources available to Lake County residents.

The Mobile Health Unit is excited to participate in several upcoming community events! We are providing back-to-school supplies, blood pressure and other health screenings, and health education materials.

Hardeman County – July 25, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Lake County – August 1, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lauderdale County – August 20, 2026 | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Southwest Tennessee Community College-Memphis, TN on July 29, 2026 - (for Southwest students/staff & faculty visits)
Annual Health Fair – Ripley, TN (Lauderdale County) on Friday, August 7, 2026
Heritage Festival – Brownsville, TN (Haywood County) on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

June 25, 9:00am - 1:00pm: (PCS) Professional Care Services in Ripley, TN, to provide patient care.

July 1, 9:00am: Southwest Tennessee Community College, in Memphis, TN, to provide healthcare education and patient care.

July 7, 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Asbury Cove Assisted Living, in Ripley, TN, to provide patient care and healthcare education.

July 10, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Lauderdale County Tomato Festival, in Ripley, TN to provide patient care, healthcare education, and blood pressure statuses.

Our Cancer Screening Team will be providing services in Memphis and Whiteville over the next week. Tomorrow, June 25, the mobile unit will be at the South Branch Library of Memphis Public Libraries, 1929 S. Third St, Memphis, TN, 38109, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
On Friday, June 26, the unit will be at Backermann's Country Market, 260 U.S. 64-E Bus., Whiteville, TN, 38075, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.
On June 30, the team will be at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library 3030 Poplar Ave. in Memphis, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. For more information, email [email protected].

Our next mobile cancer screening event is Friday, June 12, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm, at Backermann's Country Market, 260 U.S. 64-E Bus., Whiteville, TN, 38075. Come out to see our nurses! They will be there with our mobile health unit.

May 28, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm: Professional Care Services in Ripley, TN, to provide patient care.

It is sports physical season, and our staff will be in Lake and Lauderdale counties this week to provide those services to students!
May 5, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm: Lake County Schools Sports Physicals for middle and high school athletes will be available at 300 Cochran in Tiptonville, TN, 38079.

May 8, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Lauderdale Middle Sports Physicals. This service is available to middle school athletes at 321 Armory St., in Ripley, TN, 38063.
