Phi Beta Kappa and the programs in BMB, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science invite you to a virtual public lecture on January 24 at 6 pm, entitled "Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Medicine: What Makes a Good Machine Learning Model for Clinical Applications?" The Phi Beta Kappa induction ceremony will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 10 in McNeill Concert Hall. The annual luncheon will follow the induction ceremony at approximately 12:30 PM in the Refectory. Matthew Lembke, Rhodes College Phi Beta Kappa Class of 1988 and recipient of the Peyton Nalle Rhodes Prize, will be the speaker.

Members of the Rhodes College community are invited to attend both of these events. The induction is free and open to the public; the luncheon is $25 per person, and reservations are required. Please contact Prof Courtney Collins by Monday, April 29 if you would like to reserve a seat for the luncheon.

An undocumented immigrant from the Dominican Republic, and author of the memoir Undocumented (Penguin Books), he will speak at 7pm in Blount Auditorium on Wednesday, 3/21. We hope you will join us!
