As we have begun celebrating Black History Month, we want to take the time to recognize Mrs. Bertha Looney. She is one of the proud members of the Memphis State Eight. This past fall semester was the 65th anniversary of the Memphis State Eight integrating campus. We celebrated this milestone with honoring Mrs. Bertha Looney and having her share with our faculty and students. The impact of the Memphis State Eight has left a lasting legacy on our campus. We are honored by the continuous investment Mrs. Looney makes to our university and its students.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Bertha Looney at the Lunch and Learn on February 26th at 12:00 p.m. in the University Center River Room.
