Rhodes Global Delegate Shout-Out!! ✨
is a Rhodes Global Delegate for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Aidan is a senior, double majoring in Psychology and Spanish.
Every year, 15-20 students are interviewed and selected to become a Rhodes Global Delegate (RGD).
What is a Rhodes Global Delegate (RGD)?
The Rhodes Global Delegate (RGD) program provides returned study abroad students with the opportunity to share their experiences, support future participants, and help foster a globally engaged campus community. As peer advocates for education abroad, RGDs serve as a bridge between students considering study abroad and those who have already completed a program. Through outreach, mentorship, events, and peer advising, delegates help promote international learning while developing their own leadership, communication, ana professional skills. Rhodes Global Delegates will work directly with the Study Abroad RSA, Katie Miller.
As a Rhodes Global Delegate, you will:
Connect prospective study abroad students with returned participants.
Encourage and support student participation in study abroad programs. Contribute to the Rhodes community by sharing your international experiences.
Strengthen relationships between the Buckman Center for Global Engagement and the wider campus community.
Develop personal and professional skills through peer advising and student engagement.
Provide ideas, feedback, and student perspectives to help improve study abroad programs and services.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives and resources that support global learning at Rhodes.
