HST student Mitch Perez and his church in Tallinn, Estonia, spent years looking for ways to serve their neighbors. Today, they run a weekly soup kitchen serving about 50 people.

In this reflection, Mitch shares how prayer, persistence, and unexpected partnerships helped them discern where God was leading. We’re grateful for Mitch and the work his church is doing in their community!

The Harding University community recently celebrated the opening of the Rogers Theological Library, officially completing Harding School of Theology’s two-year-long move from Memphis to Searcy.

In this episode, current dean Peter Rice and theological librarian Whitney Hammes join Wes McAdams to discuss the benefits of the new library for current HST and Harding students, and the importance of having theological scholars in churches.

Yesterday was a beautiful day for HST as we celebrated the dedication of the Rogers Theological Library.

We are deeply grateful for the many people whose generosity, hard work, and vision made this space possible, and most of all, we give thanks to God for the work that has been done through HST and for the work that will continue here for many years to come.

We also want to apologize again for the livestream issues during the dedication. Thankfully, the event was recorded, and the full dedication is now available to watch here:

In the first installment of a new series, M.Div. student John Campos introduces the many faces of Hispanic ministry in the United States and asks what it might look like to pursue ministry not simply to or for Latino communities, but with them.

Too often, non-Hispanic Christians may not be the whole picture

We’re glad to share this recent piece from HST professor Dr. Matthew Love. What happens when preaching faithfully centers a congregation’s life together? Give it a read!

Preaching often bears unexpected fruit. How can a preacher prepare so that the word spoken bears good, even surprising fruit?
