An awesome round of sessions with the Teaching and Learning Center and UTHSC faculty!

Dr. Cicely Wilson and Federico Gomez-Uroz Horst, Instructional Consultants in the Teaching and Learning Center, led faculty through an engaging session on student-centered teaching.

During the session, faculty selected a teaching technique โ€” such as experiential learning, team-based learning, case-based learning, problem-based learning, active learning, flipped classroom, or active lectures โ€” and designed a lesson they could apply in their own courses.

The session emphasized practical strategies for increasing learner engagement, participation, and success across teaching environments.

Also, Instructional Consultant for the TLC, Dr. Devin Scott gave powerful insight to faculty within The College of Health Professions!
