A big JSM alumni shout out to Zach Wall, a 2024 graduate from our program! 🎓🐅

He is the content creator for the Tigers man’s basketball team! 🏀

Zach refined his photography and design skills during his time as Creative Mass Media major, and won silver and gold Addy awards for some of his photography work at the 2024 American Advertising Awards. 🏆

We’ve got some exciting news!!! 📰

The Department of Journalism and Strategic Media and the Department of Communications and Film are merging to create the new College of Communications and Media! 🎥📡

Dr. Matthew Haught is the newly announced interim director of the College of Communications and Media. 🎓

As Dr. Haught stated, “This is not a need, but a want…”

This merger is not new, as both schools have worked together on many projects.

This merger also allows for all of our students to be more well-rounded for the workforce in Memphis and beyond! 🚀
