We offer nine-month certification training programs in Health-Information Management, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, and Office Administration.

Medical Terminology II students presentations on The Different Infections: Bacteria vs Viral were impressive in their last class session.

Our class presentations help our students develop public speaking skills and professionalism.

On last month, Ms.Elizabeth Prospt, Community Outreach Program Coordinator , with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, held her HIV Care and Prevention with Community Intervention seminar on our campus.

This seminar defined what is HIV and AIDS, how it relates to Memphis and Shelby County, HIV Prevention measures, and Community Intervention.

In addition, Hope House Memphis provided HIV testing to staff and students to know their status.

Memphis is ranked number 2 in new HIV infections. This seminar provided insight to our future healthcare professionals on the number of cases and how to provide linkage to care.

Nikarra Seward, Certified Billing and Coding Specialist

Nikarra has reached #3 on her career goals list!

Nikarra completed the Medical Office Administration program in December 2025 and worked at Alliance Healthcare Services as a Front Desk Representative.

She has now taken her talents to California and just accepted an Advanced Medical Support Assistant position with the San Diego VA Medical Center in the Healthcare Administration Services Department!
