Back together at last! 🙌☀️

What a joy to see the BCM family together again! Our returning students are kicking off the school year with a few days away at beautiful Green Lake, Wisconsin—a time for fellowship, spiritual refreshment, and a fresh look ahead.

As we spend time together and in God’s Word, we’re excited to begin seeing Pastor Van Gelderen’s vision for the upcoming school year. A new year is beginning, and we’re looking forward to all that God has in store!

"Do you love your Sunday School class?" ❤️🤔

Questions like these from Dr. Jun Kojima and the pastoral staff from Falls Baptist Church have challenged and encouraged the students and staff attending the FBC Sunday School Leadership Summit these past two days!

As we look forward to another year of student-led, hands-on ministry through Falls Baptist Church, we are reminded that true ministry isn't just a weekly routine on Sundays, it is the daily, intentional choice to love, serve, and pray for the people God has entrusted to us.

Testimony Tuesday 🙌

"This summer the Lord directed me to intern at Shining Stars Day Camp, a ministry of Falls Baptist Church. At the end of this past spring semester, the Lord challenged me with Isaiah 66:2, showing me my self dependence and pride. I asked God to use circumstances in my life to purge me of this and to give me a poor and contrite spirit. Shining Stars was exactly what He used. The lesson planning, classroom management, and mounting responsibilities drove me to the end of my rope. I had to look somewhere other than myself for the strength and answers I desperately needed. Through it all, God proved that He was there for me. Sacrificing myself for the service of others became less of a burden as I looked to God for strength, wisdom, and guidance.

"Besides the day camp, God gave me many other opportunities to serve, including VBS. During VBS, a second grader from my line accepted Christ as her Savior. It was amazing to witness the Lord work in her life the entire week and bring her to that point of decision.

"My summer was characterized by my own will being subject to the greater will of God. I am thankful for the work He was able to accomplish in my life and in the lives of the children I was able to minister to."
