The School of Business doctoral students and faculty enjoyed learning more about academic publication today. Thank you to Dr. Khalil Dirani for providing great insight and Dr. Matthew Hurtienne for arranging the lunch and learn.

This week, I had the opportunity to meet colleagues and peers at the 2024 Asian Conference of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD). About 7,000 hrd practitioners, graduate students, and researchers were all under one roof. Very motivating.

I had a chance to talk with Gary McLean, a leader in HRD, without whom our School of Business doctoral programs at would not exist.

It was inspiring to engage with future researchers and see the potential developments in our field. Additionally, the joy of seeing our Ph.D. student's work added to the experience.

It was great to reconnect with current colleagues and friends and to make new connections.

South Korea was beautiful, and I hope that our colleagues and scholars from Asia can visit Wisconsin someday. Safe travels, and until we meet again, stay safe.

Congratulations to Rev. Dr. Jamison Hardy on his new role as the President of the Concordia University System. Jamison teaches financial courses for our and in Business programs. He recently created a doctoral course titled "Christian Faith, Business, and Values."

We are thankful for what you have added to our doctoral business programs, and we congratulate you on your new position as with Concordia University System. Your experience in the Church and business principles will help us continue to move the missions forward. !

Congratulations to Prof Angie Zwirlein Belz and her PR Class. They created a campaign combining Lent and a fundraiser for Laudate Jesu Organization.

-CUWAA has hands on experiences allowing students to experiment and be creative
-Laudate Jesu is an organization helping Kenyan people end the cycle of poverty with entrepreneurship and education.
-3/27 was deemed “Wear Purple Day” – the color of Lent and promoting the spirit of giving forward instead of giving up.

"This past week the Accounting Club hosted a business career fair which providing an enriching experience for CUW business students. The Career Fair served as a platform for students to engage with each other, network with esteemed employers, and gain valuable insights into the accounting industry. It was an enriching experience filled with meaningful connections and valuable interactions.

Thank you to all of the employers and the WICPA for attending! Their participation made a significant impact on the success of our Career Fair, and we are immensely appreciative of the opportunities you provided to our students.
