Our UC Merced on Main building at 1635 M Street is a modern architectural property originally built in 1955 as a popular neighborhood tavern called The Hut. It was later transformed into a modern, open-concept tech hub by Bitwise Industries and is now home to our UC Merced Professional and Continuing Education center, where we offer professional certifications, career improvement courses, engaging workshops, workforce training, and public education events in the heart of downtown Merced.
