Thomas Environmental Law Society("STELS") is a student run organization dedicated towards local, state, and national environmental law issues. STELS is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization directed and staffed by students at St. Thomas University. STELS provides students with hands-on exposure to the numerous issues in law, policy, science and management that professionals confront in the f

ield of environmental law. As a professional student organization, STELS attempts to bring students closer to attorneys practicing in the area of environmental law as well as increasing the awareness of environmental issues faced within the local community. As part of the community, STELS participates in pro bono events aimed at improving our local community and environment. As part of the student body, STELS is actively working towards publishing student writings in the area of environmental law.
