The work continues, but first… BRUNCH! 🥞✨

Our South Florida HBCU Picnic Core Planning Committee came together for a little family time, good food, great laughs, and an opportunity to reflect on an incredible 10th Annual South Florida HBCU Picnic! 💙🎓

Today was all about celebrating the wins, talking through what worked, sharing ideas for what we can make even better, and yes… already starting the conversation about next year! 👀🔥

A huge thank you to Pancakes or Waffles (POW Restaurant Miami (Pancake Or Waffle)), a Black-owned business, for welcoming our crew and taking such great care of us. The food was DELICIOUS and the hospitality made our recap brunch even sweeter! 🧇🥞❤️

Behind every successful picnic is a team that plans, problem-solves, laughs, works hard, and keeps the mission at the center. Today felt less like a meeting and more like family brunch. 🫶🏾

Year 10 gave us plenty to celebrate. Now… we’re talking Year 11. 🎓🔥

🎬 Quiet on the Creek… the winners have been announced! 💗💚

Congratulations to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® AKA- Zeta Rho Omega Chapter 💞💚 for taking home the 2026 South Florida HBCU Picnic Greek Tent Competition! From the creativity and décor to the HBCU spirit and sisterhood, they brought the energy and made a lasting impression.
