On March 5, 2026, Barry University hosted the Inaugural Interdisciplinary Mass Casualty Simulation Exercise. This dynamic, real-time simulation recreated the response to a fatal bus accident staged on the main campus lawn, challenging participants to navigate every aspect of a complex mass casualty incident. What made the day truly inspiring was the collaboration across departments. The seamless coordination, clear communication, and shared commitment to excellence demonstrated by our community were key to the success of this exercise.

Our students and faculty truly shined, showcasing professionalism, teamwork, and the dedication required to prepare for real-world emergencies. We are of the incredible work displayed by everyone involved.
