Join us for Networks of Care in David Driskell’s Legacy, a panel taking place Thursday, June 11 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU (Modesto Maidique Campus).
Moderated by Dr. Shawn Christian, Associate Professor and Chair of FIU’s English Department, the panel features Dr. Jordana Moore Saggese, Christopher M. Norwood, and Charles Humes, Jr., and considers mentorship, education, and networks of care within David Driskell’s artistic legacy. The program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition David C. Driskell and Friends.
