Ruth's unwavering loyalty and resilience continue to inspire generations. This Women's History Month, we honor her legacy of faith, love, and perseverance. Ruth 1:16-17 - "But Ruth replied, 'Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me."

Esteemed for her courage and wisdom, Esther's story is a beacon of empowerment and faith. This Women's History Month, we celebrate her enduring legacy and the timeless lessons of bravery and leadership she embodies. Esther 4:15-16 - "Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 'Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish."

Happy VaLENTtine's Day from Trinity International University Florida! Today, we celebrate Love in all forms, reflecting on 1 Corinthians 13 'Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others; it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'

Today, we also mark the start of Lent, which, as Dr. Esau McCaulley notes, is a season of repentance, renewal, and preparation – a time to turn away from our sins and toward God. Ash Wednesday reminds us of our mortality and rebellion yet it does it in the context of the cross and God's faithfulness in Christ.

May this day be filled with God, who is Love! 💖

Spotlight on Marsha Wilson, a shining example of compassion and dedication!

As a proud Trinity International University–Florida graduate, Marsha is making waves in the mental health field. She completed her MA in Counseling Psychology in just two and a half years and is now inspiring future therapists at Trinity Florida through her teaching. Prof. Wilson, as she is known by our students and staff, is passionate about breaking the stigma around therapy and mental health care, particularly among Black and Hispanic communities, and training quality counselors to be a light in the world.
She says why she decided on TIU for her program: "I was looking for a school to get my credentials as a counselor, and Trinity was the only place that didn't treat me like a number. I explored a lot of universities, but at Trinity, it was a personal experience."
Marsha is pursuing a Ph.D. and is a clinical supervisor at Smith Community Mental Health in Plantation, Florida. As a clinical supervisor, professor, and student, Marsha empathizes with busy adult learners.
