For MAGIC's 10 year anniversary, our staff and students have worked hard to raise money for the MAGIC Student Scholarship Fund. Their hard work has paid off as all eligible applicants can now apply for said scholarship!

This fund is designed to assist those enrolled at MAGIC pursue their education in animation, gaming, and immersive technologies.

AMERICA 250 @ the MDC Freedom Tower

MDC featured a light and animation show projected onto the exterior of the Freedom Tower, bringing 250 years of American history to life through projection mapping; during the Fourth of July celebrations at the Freedom Tower. Students at the Miami Animation & Gaming International Complex (MAGIC) at Miami Dade College created the artwork and the projection mapping project to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the United States.

Created entirely by MAGIC students under the guidance of the department Chairperson, Mauricio Ferrazza, the production transformed Miami's iconic Freedom Tower into a living canvas that celebrates America's history, ideals, innovation, and future through animation and visual storytelling.
