In the Spring of 2007, 4 ambitious men came together with a goal in mind. These men wanted to bring an organization to Florida International University, an organization which prides itself on service to its community and cultural awareness. They wanted its members to not only be diverse, but to share a bond much like the bond of brotherhood. These men, immortalized as the “Alm

ighty Alphas”, found a match in to their dream in Sigma Beta Rho.

Sigma Beta Rho is a national multicultural Fraternity based upon the principles of Society, Brotherhood, and Remembrance. These pillars were established upon the formation of the Alpha Chapter at the University of Pennsylvania on August 16, 1996 and continue to guide our brotherhood to this day.

The Honorable Brothers of Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, Inc. are proud to have crossed 1 man into our fraternity as part of the Iota Class. This man has truly earned his letters and we are confident that he will wear our letters with pride and will not only be a good brother, but will contribute to the overall success here at Florida International University. We would like to congratulate PLEDGE MASTER HI-LITE (Fall 2009) aka Faiz M. Hasan for leading and guiding him into our brotherhood. We also want to thank all of the brothers of the Florida Region that were involved in making this happen.
