Hello Facebook Friends!

Who would like to see me (Crystal Ford Bingle) get a pie in the face? 🙂

We are currently raising funds for our Alternative Spring Break program at Miami University Regionals. Those who raise the most money will get to have a delicious delight right in the pie hole 🙂 Please let that be me!!! All contributions will help fund our Regional students as they are able to participate in service trips to help communities in need in the Appalachian area. You can donate online via the link below.

There will also be collection jars placed in the Advancement office on each campus (202 MOS in Hamilton, and 140 Johnston Hall in Middletown) leading up to the Staff Forum picnic on June 5th. Last minute donations can be made at the picnic up until 11:45 and we'll hold the "ceremony" around 12:30. Whoever raises the most money on each campus will have the honor of “enjoying” this special pie.

ANOTHER FUN WAY TO GET INVOLVED!

*****If you participate in Red Nose Day, we would LOVE to see photos of you and your friends and family with your noses on! Please be sure to share them with us!**********

Red Nose Day
May 23
Let’s come together to end child poverty, one nose at a time.

is one of the fun ways to make a difference for kids in need.

It's easy, just stop by your local Walgreens and buy your Red Nose for $1...

Then Noses On May 23 - wear your nose proudly, knowing that children right here at home will have food because of you.

Cameron Robinson is a Miami University Regionals student currently enrolled in Dr. Susan Miller’s Community-based learning course, Introduction to Disability Studies. The impact of service working with day program residents of Opportunities to Succeed has greatly impacted his learning and perspectives on life. He has become so connected with the group of seniors with disabilities that he wanted to bring those who could travel to see his campus at Miami Middletown. They took a tour of our campus and were treated to pizza and lemonade. Oh the smiles and light that radiated from each person made our day so much brighter! What a beautiful opportunity that Cameron coordinated! We are proud of our Miami Regionals students! Doing beautiful things in the community and connecting campus and community together!
