As promised......more highlights from our students' summer experiences!
Brianna Ondishin completed a summer internship at the United States Attorneys Office with the Department of Justice in Washington D.C. In her post, reflecting on her experience she stated: "This experience provided me with an inside look at the federal justice system and the important work being done everyday to uphold the rule of law and serve our community. I had the opportunity to work alongside incredible attorneys and professionals who are passionate about making a difference. Their mentorship, support, and willingness to share their knowledge pushed me to grow both personally and professionally. Working in the criminal division gave me insight on the behind the scenes of how cases are prosecuted and the importance of every step."
Elijah Espaillat, spent the summer as a Talent Acquisition intern for The Hershey Company. In one of his posts, Elijah stated: "What has stood out to me most is the level of planning, collaboration, and intentionality that goes into every stage of the hiring process. From building relationships to creating a positive candidate experience, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for the impact that Talent Acquisition has on an organization’s success."
