We love a campus love story 🩵 Jackston Sturges, class of 2025, and Hannah Arnold, class of 2024, met on the Penn State Harrisburg campus in the fall of 2021, when Hannah was a member of the women’s soccer team and Jackson was a game day worker. The couple, who both still work with Penn State Harrisburg Athletics, recently became engaged - right where their story began. Congrats!

Going global: Students from Penn State Harrisburg were among a group that headed to Greece in May for a 10-day summer program!

Students from the Harrisburg, Altoona, Abington, Schuykill and University Park campuses traveled to Greece for a program led by Nicole Stokes, professor of sociology at Penn State Abington and affiliate faculty at Harrisburg.

The students took the course State, Society and Public Policy, offered by the School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg, and visited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and agencies that work with migrant and refugee populations in Europe, as well as well as museums and historical sites in Athens, Delphi and Lesvos.

The trip was organized by Harrisburg’s Office of Global Engagement and was a partnership with College Year in Athens.
