Rose State College offered its first classes on Sept. 21, 1970. Rose State offers more than 60 degree and skilled-occupational programs, many of which prepare students for transfer to a university for completion of a bachelor’s degree. Classes are offered during the day, evening and online in two-, four-, eight- or 16-week terms, providing significant scheduling flexibility. Tuition and fees are a

mong the lowest in Oklahoma, and over $30 million in financial aid and scholarships are provided every year. In 2014, the college broke ground on residential housing, making it the largest and only community college in an urban Oklahoma area to offer on-campus housing to students. Located in Midwest City, OK, Rose State College is just minutes away from downtown Oklahoma City.

Make plans to attend a special guest lecture featuring Tom Manganello, senior counsel in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Investor Education and Assistance on Wednesday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the TACC Quad, Rooms 108–111.

Manganello will present “Building Wealth Through Saving & Investing.”

Manganello has served as a financial literacy lecturer, panelist, and social media communicator. He also researches, writes, and develops plain-language investor education tools and resources for the SEC’s Investor.gov website.
