💬 Meet Jailey Ferrer Negron, a senior Mass Communication major at GCSU and a Public Affairs Intern at Moody Air Force Base!

Through her internship with the Public Affairs Office, Jailey is gaining hands-on experience in government communications by creating graphics, capturing photography, producing videos, interviewing personnel, and supporting events that connect the base with the Valdosta community.

This experience has expanded Jailey’s communication skills, introduced her to the world of government communications, and shown her the many career opportunities available beyond traditional career paths.

💬 Intern Spotlight: Meet Ari Johns, a Biology major at GCSU and a Wildlife Caretaker Intern at Dauset Trails Nature Center! 🦉🌿

From caring for injured wildlife and rehabilitating native species to educating visitors along the nature trail, Ari is gaining hands-on experience with animals of all kinds.

One of the most rewarding parts of this internship has been seeing the progress of animals in their care and contributing to their recovery. This experience has inspired Ari to continue studying animal physiology and pursue a future career protecting native wildlife.
