When Trey Bernard (’08, ’10, ’15) reflects on his time in Milledgeville, he sees the foundation of his entire career.
As a Triple Bobcat who earned a B.A. in History, M.A. in American History, and an Ed.S. in Secondary Education, Trey deeply embedded himself in campus life. From student leadership in Phi Alpha Theta to working with the Center for Student Success, the adaptability and network he built at Georgia College have anchored his 16-year career in public education.
Today, Trey serves as a teacher and Dual Enrollment Coordinator at Mary Persons High School, shaping the next generation of students. Now, he is taking his own education a step further by embarking on his Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction at Valdosta State University.
"Being able to adapt, grow stronger, and develop the necessary life skills to succeed in an ever-changing world are the gifts that GC helped me to develop and hone over the years," Trey reflected.
