Kicking off with our incredible President, Callie Thomason!!
“Hi, my name is Callie Thomason and I am a junior Mass Communications major! I have the absolute privilege of serving as President for Eta Chi this year! Delta Gamma has been and will continue to be one of the most amazing parts of my life. I was not sure what to expect when I decided to go through recruitment before my freshman year. I could have never asked for a better outcome. Delta Gamma has given me my best friends, my support system, my bridesmaids, the women my kids will call their “aunt”, and the most amazing sisters a girl could ask for. This sisterhood shows up in so many ways from a Monday night dinner to going to your sisters couch on a hard day because she’s the only one that can make you feel better and give you good advice. I am always so excited to go to any DG event because I know it will instantly make my day better. I can walk into a room and if I see any DG there, I know I have a friend. What Delta Gamma means to me is having a genuine community and a place where I can grow. Being able to serve as chapter president has been the most fulfilling thing in my life. I get to support my sisters in so many ways. I get to be a helping hand and my goal is to make their experience in college as amazing as possible. I love this chapter so being able to serve as President gives me the opportunity to truly appreciate how much hard work and love goes into making this chapter so incredible. Running to Delta Gamma on bid day was the best decision I have ever made!”
