A piece of Millersville history returns to campus!

Archives & Special Collections recently received a donation of a tall clock crafted on campus in 1976 by the late Professor Emeritus of Industrial Arts, George D. Hauber, Sr. The clock was made as a wedding gift for Barry ('73, M '75) and Vickie Piersol and showcases woodworking techniques taught by the department at the time, including inlay, relief carving, and turning.

The clock now resides in the Archives Reading Room, bringing a meaningful piece of Millersville’s history back to campus!

Something new has arrived! 👀🌴

If you’ve walked through the lobby lately, you may have noticed a new leafy friend making itself at home. The palm tree is here temporarily to escape freezing temperatures on the way, and we’re enjoying the tropical vibes while we can!

A special thank you to our Graduate Assistant, Tommy, for leading the project and helping bring a little tropical sunshine indoors! ☀️
