🌟 Welcome, Dr. Michele Chronister! 🌟

We’re proud to announce Dr. Michele Chronister’s appointment to a faculty position in the Nursing Department at Millersville University!

Dr. Chronister brings a powerful blend of clinical expertise and academic dedication. A two-time Millersville graduate, she earned her MSN-FNP in 2014 and her DNP in 2020, building on her nursing foundation from the University of Pittsburgh.

With over 30 years in the field and five years as a beloved member of our faculty, Dr. Chronister continues to practice as a Nurse Practitioner while inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Outside the classroom, she’s a proud mom of five, a world traveler, a golf enthusiast, and is currently completing her teaching certification!

👏 Let’s give a warm Millersville welcome to Dr. Chronister as she begins this exciting new chapter!

The Wehrheim School of Nursing are saddened by the tragic events at UPMC Memorial Hospital on Saturday and we extend our heartfelt condolences to all involved, especially the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Duarte.

In times like this, we are reminded of the need for comprehensive workplace safety policies. The Wehrheim faculty are committed to supporting nurses in advocacy at all levels. We are further committed to supporting our students, faculty, and alumni and are just a call or email away.
