Remember when…Fortune Feimster came to Curry to perform! 💜
🎓 Throwback to My Curry College Days! 💙💛
As the Class of 2016 celebrates our 10-year reunion, I’ve been looking back at some of the memories that made my time at Curry College so special.
One memory that immediately came to mind was when Fortune Feimster came to Curry to perform! 😂 I’ve always loved comedy because, for me, laughter is one of the best ways to take a step back, forget about the stresses of everyday life, and just enjoy the moment. Her performance had the whole room laughing, and it was exactly the kind of experience that made college so memorable.
I also had the opportunity to meet Fortune afterward, and what impressed me just as much as her comedy was how kind, genuine, and down-to-earth she was. It was such a great experience getting to speak with her.
This is one of the things I’ve always loved about Curry, the college created opportunities for students to experience things they might not otherwise get to experience, meet incredible people, and make memories that last a lifetime.
Now, 10 years later, as a Class of 2016 ambassador for our reunion, I’m proud to look back on these moments and celebrate the people, experiences, laughter, and memories that made our college years so special.
Here’s to 10 years of memories, and plenty more reasons to laugh! 😂🎓💙💛
