Nurse practitioners from UW–Milwaukee, Marquette University, Children’s Wisconsin, and UW–Madison gathered at the Wisconsin Capitol through the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort to advocate for fi***rm laws that protect children and promote public health.

Among them was UWM Clinical Assistant Professor Allison Grady, bringing her clinical perspective to conversations about preventing fi***rm injuries, supporting families, and keeping communities safe.

We are so proud in the UWM School of Nursing to have practicing faculty exercising their voices and participating in advocacy. Their commitment to health extends beyond the classroom and clinical setting, helping inform policies that affect the children, families, and communities we serve.
